Le Saint-Nicolas — Au Coin du Feu

French tradition, seasons and mountain inspiration

Le Saint-Nicolas — Au Coin du Feu

The place

At the Hôtel Au Coin du Feu in Megève, Le Saint-Nicolas brings together French tradition, seasonal ingredients and mountain inspiration for an elegant, authentic and sincere dining experience. The restaurant celebrates the French art of living, reinterpreting the great classics with a modern touch and a subtle Alpine influence.

Executive chef Jean-Baptiste Doualan joins the house after a career alongside Julien Gatillon, contributing to the journey that earned Gatillon his first and second Michelin stars. He later worked within the Yannick Alléno group before becoming executive chef at Cheval Blanc Courchevel.

Julien Gatillon supports the culinary development of Le Saint-Nicolas. A recognised figure in Megève’s gastronomy who earned two Michelin stars during his career, he brings his vision to the restaurant’s identity while remaining involved in several culinary projects.

The cellar brings together more than 400 references, selected from leading French winegrowers and emerging talents. Rare and emblematic cuvées sit alongside discovery wines and grands crus, celebrating French terroirs and the pleasure of sharing.

The restaurant mentions two tasting menus, along with special menus for Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and a white-truffle evening on 31 October.
